Hi. My name is Tom Adams. I am my kids dad. Two boys to be exact. And I love being a dad. But I find that I never got taught how to do this thing called parenting. I seem to either default to my own parents approach to parenting... or try to go the complete opposite way, trying as hard as I can not to be like them. Often, neither extreme is right... Cause often the end result is the same... anxiety, frustration, tension, and bad results with and for my kids.

But I want something better. I want my parenting to work, and work well. I want to do the right thing. I am prepared to make the mistakes...I can assure you I have had great success with that.

I just don't want to keep making mistakes that a simple change in my own knowledge or behaviour would have prevented. That is why I keep seeking out ideas, concepts, advice and resources to help me.

I seek them because I always want to get better at parenting... to learn more so I can continue to have a profound effect on my kids lives. Forever!
